ABOUT ME - CANDY NG

 

Growing up in Hong Kong with a creative father, Candy showed natural creative flair right from childhood. Fast forward a few decades and swayed by the perception of ‘the starving artist’ she ignored her creative urges and commenced a career in finance.

Despite experiencing success in her finance career, Candy couldn’t shake the feeling of being unfulfilled, exhausted and burnt out, and the overwhelming belief that life was too short to work a job she didn’t love.

It was time for a change.

In 2020, Candy took her first leap into an art career, offering fine art, live event illustration, and calligraphy. After briefly returning to finance, she left corporate life for good in November 2024 to fully dedicate herself to her artistic journey.

In just a few years, Candy has seen rapid growth in all streams of her business, including artist in residences, exhibitions and collaborations with luxury brands.

Candy will continue to creatively express herself through art and find new and innovative ways to share her creativity with the world.

 

Art is a visual record of a time, place, experience, or dream. It transports us to a feeling, whether real or imagined.

 

In her studio, Candy paints still life oil paintings that celebrate life's small, meaningful moments. She focuses on simple objects that might be overlooked but hold memories and feelings. Through her style and careful detail, she turns everyday items into beautiful reminders of joy and connections.

She quickly captures guest's essence in her live drawings, creating timeless artworks as a keepsakes. Whether she's sketching a guest or engraving keepsakes, Candy’s work adds a fun and interactive touch that elevates the entire experience.
